About Purcell Glass
Purcell Glass is the film-cutting line of a Shenzhen manufacturer that has been building smart cutting equipment since 2015. This page is about the part of the business behind the machines on this site — what we make, where we make it, and why hardness film is the material we tuned for.
One product line, not a catalogue
Purcell builds cutting equipment for several industries. This site covers one of them: cutting hardened film, UV curing film and screen-protector stock — the materials that sit between a sheet of glass and a customer's hand.
- What we cut3–9H hardness film, UV curing film from 0.18 mm, tempered glass, PET
- Standard sheet120 × 196 mm for hardness film
- Accuracy we hold±0.1 mm, 1500 g cutting pressure
- Who buys itScreen protector brands, phone repair chains, distributors
The full company profile — every product line, every catalogue — lives on the brand site: purcellcutting.com/about.
Where the machines are built
Machines ship from our own factory in Longgang District, Shenzhen — not from a trading office. Board assembly, harness, calibration and final inspection happen in the same building, which is why a spec change does not turn into a six-week negotiation.
- AssemblySix automatic SMT lines for control boards
- WorkshopClimate-controlled assembly and calibration area
- QualityISO-certified process, inspection at every stage
- CertificationCE and RoHS
How we got from plotters to film cutters
We started in 2015 with our first advertising plotter — a machine built for sign shops, not for phones. The cutting head, the pressure control and the job software have been reworked continuously since, and the current generation runs its template library from the cloud.
That history explains a bias you will notice across this site: we would rather publish a narrow, checkable specification than a long feature list. Every number on a product page comes from that series' own specification sheet.
Working with us
Most of our customers are not buying their first cutter. They are replacing one that cannot hold tolerance on hard-coated film, or adding capacity without adding floor space. If that is where you are, the fastest path is to send the material you run and the device range you cut for.
Need the company documents?
Certificates, test reports and factory audit material are sent on request — tell us which document your procurement team needs and we will reply with the file.
